Qishan County (Chinese: 岐山县; Pinyin: Qíshān Xiàn) is a county of Baoji, Shaanxi, China. It was the site of Zhouyuan (Chinese: 周原; Pinyin: Zhōuyuán), the first capital of the Zhou Dynasty (1066 - 256 BCE). Historically, the site was also known as Qiyi (岐邑) or Qishan (岐山). It is located in Fengchu township on the Weishui River to the south of Mt. Qi.[1] Many Zhou-era artifacts included bronzeware have been found here. These are now housed in a museum on the site.
